Code of Ethics Policy at CxO Coaching
Preamble:
At CxO Coaching we believe in the power of executive coaching to transform lives, teams, and organizations. In order to uphold the highest standard of coaching services, we are committed to maintaining and promoting excellent conduct in the provision and management of professional coaching. This Code of Ethics sets forth the standards that govern the conduct of all our employees, contractors, and any person representing our organization.
1. Integrity:
1.1 We will conduct ourselves professionally, with truth, accuracy, transparency, and honesty.
1.2 We will acknowledge and respect the rights, dignity, and perspectives of all individuals.
1.3 We will accurately represent our coaching qualifications, expertise, and experience.
2. Confidentiality and Privacy:
2.1 We recognize that trust is a fundamental aspect of a successful coaching relationship. We will maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality with client information, except as otherwise authorized by the client, or as required by law.
2.2 We will store and dispose of client records in a manner that upholds confidentiality and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Professional Conduct:
3.1 We commit to the continuous improvement of our professional skills and abilities, aiming to provide high-quality service to our clients.
3.2 We will respect different approaches to coaching and the efforts of other coaches.
3.3 We will not knowingly take any personal, professional, or monetary advantage or benefit of the coach-client relationship, except by a form of compensation as agreed in the agreement or contract.
4. Conflict of Interest:
4.1 We will disclose any conflict of interest or potential conflict of interest to the client as soon as it becomes apparent.
4.2 We will only enter into or continue the coach-client relationship where the potential conflict of interest could not impair our objectivity, professional judgment, or coaching performance.
5. Professional Responsibility:
5.1 We will seek to understand and uphold all applicable laws and governing agreements relating to coaching services.
5.2 We will respect the rights and responsibilities of the clients and other stakeholders as set out in our contractual agreements.
5.3 We will promptly address any professional conduct violation or potential violation of this Code brought to our attention.
This Code of Ethics is a living document that will evolve as our understanding, knowledge, and experience as executive coaching professionals grow. It is each individual's responsibility within CxO Coaching to uphold this Code and ensure our behavior consistently reflects these guidelines. We believe these ethics and standards will maintain the integrity, excellence, respect, and overall professionalism of our executive coaching services.
Employees or contractors found in violation of this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. We encourage our team to speak up about ethical issues without fear of reprisal, confident in the knowledge that CxO Coaching is committed to taking action and fostering a culture of ethical business conduct.
